Many of the newer maps in PCO have a file called mapmaker.xml in the Media folder for the map. I think the first line of that file contains the Google Map location reference: GM_ZOOM="15" GM_LAT="46.240710580568916" GM_LNG="20.747079849243164".

if that helps you at all. This file may not be in all the new map folders though.

All of my scenarios come with the GE coordinates in the briefing.

As far as how you look at the location that's up to you.
