I place a halftrack inside a destroyed building on set up.Later tried to move it and it would not move or withdraw.Possible bug.

Rubble is impassable for vehicles. Press the 5 key to see the terrain map and use the LOS tool to see what the description is. Once you placed it there it is stuck. Troops however should be able to either move out or unmount.

Better check the manual. Halftrack in ruins movement speed =0%. No bug.

Just out of curiosity why did you place a vehicle in a destroyed building in the first place?
Good Hunting.

I thought it would be a good defensive position.I also placed tanks in rubble and they were able to move out of rubble.

But tanks are fully tracked vehicles. A HT is not.
Obviously rubble is not the best choice for a HT.
An old scenario design trick is to put a vehicle in an impassible terrain feature to show that it's immobilized.
Good Hunting.

It shouldn't work that way, tanks can, hts can't. Can you place a tank in the exact same rubble and move it?
