Has anyone here used the Second World War Data Base or knows anyone who has? I'm trying to find out how 'good' or accurate it is.

There are two WWII databases. I've used one of them for a couple scenarios, and I've seen the other one used in other scenarios. I would say that they both look fine, and I've never come across any negative reports about either of them.

Specifically..
I used Derek Weich's database for both Anzio scenarios and Brian Wilson's for Nijmegen. Erik Nygaard used Brian Wilson's for his latest scenario updates. Meanwhile I tend to stick with Brian Wilson's, but it is more because of the feel than based on hard data/testing. The major difference both databases have from the default database is that AT capabilities (HEAT - Piat, PzFst etc) of Infantry are slightly higher than in the default database. Derek Weichs database has rather high AP ratings for MGs which i think can be justified for a battle in an open, almost treeless plain like at Anzio. Both are available at the Gamesquad download section.

I was only aware of Brian Wilson's. Didn't know there was another. Anyway, thanks for the info guys. That's what I needed to know.
