quick question

just got ATG last week...enjoying some of the posts here, as I figure the game out (liked the one on micromanagement, and the players who like to try different mixes)...i find I am understanding the game better through the player's comments on their experiments, which is fun. The game is not "hard and fast" rulewise that way, which is interesting.

anyway, just a quick question of many to come...

I built a useless little navy on what turned out to be a closed little sea, and now I'd like to scupper my destroyer and cargo ship. I know how to disband empty units, but how do I delete units like a destroyer or a cargo ship?

oh what the heck, here's a second question.... I've been trying the multi-tier HQs as suggested in a FAQ hereabouts. I sent an HQ a ways away, and realized I needed some middlemen HQs to send supplies along the long (roadless as my engineers catchup) logistical corridor.... but one of my original HQs refuses to be subordinated to one of my new middlemen HQs....any thought as to why? (Hope my question makes sense...what I'm trying to do is have my HQs send supplies into the wilderness as I try to stretch out and grab territory, and as I understand it, if you tier your HQ, they will automatically send supplies down the line to each other?)

In the original game you could have 4 tiers of headquarters. So Supreme to say Army group to Army to Corps. I know that 4 still works in Gold but on the graphs page the 4th doesn't show up. All my troops get supplied though.

You will need to disband each subformation individually. This is done on by clicking on the subformation, and then on the next screen you get the option of disbanding. I think that you will get some of the resources back that you used to purchase these units, but you may want to disband them in a port, just to be sure...

Doesn't ATG allow more than four tiers?
