Hi I'm new to all this stuff, but while playing about with the editor I noticed that there is quite alot off weapon systems, that have zero range, zero accuracy & zero effect?
As an example the Japanese type 97 Tankette, has a 37mm gun as it's main armament, and yet it has 0 Range,0 Accuracy, 30 Penetration & 0 Effect. How can a gun have 30 Penetration and yet have no effect,if it has 0 effect what is the point off firing the gun ?

Even your bog standard 7.7 mm Vickers machine gun has 3 Range,24 Accuracy,1 Penetration & 2 Effect settings.

I say again Japanese 37mm gun has 0 Range,0 Accuracy,30 Penetration & 0 Effect as it's settings.

How can a 7.7 mm Machine gun have better settings than a 37mm Main gun for a Tank [&:]

Different mechanics. The 7.7mm MG is an Aircraft Gun device, while the tank is an AFV. The power of the shell is measured in the "Anti-soft" and "Anti-hard" ratings.

Hi Terminus,so the Range,Accuracy & Effects play no part in the land combat for Tanks etc ?How come they don't use the same shell game mechanics that Naval shell do,just baffled a bit but there is nothing new there hehehe!![;)]

They do, but that particular weapon is a bad example. Look at some of the other tanks and artillery pieces.
