June 1, 2011: Collapse of Vichy France partial solution only.

Another example is when the Collapse of Vichy France causes Vichy France controlled minor countries to become owned by an Axis major power which has a unit present in the minor country. For instance, if Italy has a unit in Vichy France controlled Tunisia, then the rules state that Tunisia goes to Italy. But the rules say nothing about if there are both German and Italian units present. I decided to count the number of units and ‘give’ the country to the Axis major power with the most units present.
I have just read the June 1, 2011 report and noted the above paragraph. I hope that it will be of value to observe that the solution as detailed is only a partial solution. For example, what will the code do if there are an equal number of Axis Major Power units?

In those situations, Germany has priority, I believe.

Edit: This is from the list of fixes Steve gives us with each new patch:
7. Fixed numerous bugs in Collapsing Vichy France (Michael, 8.02.03, Post #34; Michael, 8.03.00, Post #41). CWIF never considered what to do with Vichy controlled minor countries (e.g., Tunisia) if they contain units from more than one Axis major power. RAW doesn’t address this issue either. I added new code to count the number of units each Axis major power has in the country and give the country to whichever major power has the most units. In case of ties, the country goes to Germany first and Italy second.

Thank you for your careful reading. I often don't go into the laborious details in my posts, even though I do have to do so in my code. See Aaron's post above, where I did describe the code in some additional detail for the beta testers.
