the manual has no details on the combat system??

if att is 18 and hitpoints are 125... ??? what does it mean? entrenchment is 150, and... ? i understand if the precise formulas are too complex to explain clearly, but there really should be a clearer explanation available of how the combat works.

I just started reading the first article in this series by Victor. There's good info about the combat units and their strengths and weaknesses. Check out the article series on his web site...

I've read them all, but they don't really discuss the actual mathematics involved.

The detailed combat report is good, except I wish the bonus% was broken down further. Right now it just shows base, bonus, and after bonus.
