Unmount under fire?

Hi,

I'am totally new to Panzer Command and currently playing demo and especially the tutorial mission.
One thing I cannot understand: mounted troups on halftracks unmount if halftracks are under mortar fire. Is this intentionally? Mounted they are protected, unmounted they are unprotected ans suddenly pinned or suppressed. Moreover the halftracks proceed with advancing - this disturbes the orders given and undermines the goal to move troups faster. Manual on side 41 points out that troups on halftracks receive some protection. So it makes no sense to unmount.

Do I miss the point?

Sincerly

This has been changed in the next update so that they are very much less inclined to dismount halftracks.

Hi Mtxhat,

If you install the public beta update, you can already play with this fix. [8D]

Thank you very much. One question because I cannot find it: where to download the public beta update? :)
