And does the game come with a physical manual? Just curious about the packaging so I can decide physical vs. download. Thanks!

Thanks I think I found it.

That means it's a "Collector's Edition". This is also explained on the front page of our store, but a Collector's Edition includes a full color printed manual in the physical copy. [8D]

Even though I think the box would look wicked cool with the red ST band, [8D] it's nice to get the color manual instead. With the great artwork done in the game, color is the way to go.

When you go to the store page try pressing <ctrl>+F5
That will force a refresh of the page and clear cached info. Then it should show up.

I did press ctrl-f5 and it's still showing the DX edition. If I order the box version now, will I receive the CL edition?

Indeed! I wanted a printed paper manual and would gladly have purchased the Collector's Edition if it had been available. How about an upgrade to my order?

I'm REALLY disappointed in this. I only ever saw DX as an option, both on the product page and the store...and now looking at the product page, although I still only see a DX option, the game box DOES have a CL strip on it...so what gives? Is this going to be sold CL? If so, this really should've been shown from day one - this is one game I would've went CL on!

Either I'm going to be disappointed because I wasn't given the option of CL, or other people are going to be disappointed because they are expecting the CL version....but will only get a box with a CD in it!

Looks like there is an error - sorry about that. The description is correct and the box image correct but there is a DX logo on the page which is incorrect. Getting it fixed ASAP. I will also check if there is anything we can do for those who wanted the CL. I'm not sure what is possible.

^^Really? Absolutely gutted! When I bought it, I didn't notice the CL on the box - but even if I had the only option available to me (then and now) was DX - and I don't buy physical games without a manual!! I'd have been all over a box with colour manual for this.

I ordered the game yesterday dl + physics. I noticed the confusion DX / CL on the game page and the store. But I still want a physical medium, if possible!

I am therefore pleased to learn that it is the CL version with printed manual!

We'll certainly do what we can JD, though I dont know what is possible. Let me look in to it.

Sorry, it was originally setup as a Digital Express Edition. The setup changed very late and the new image for the box was only available on the morning of the release as the artist that normally does the boxes was away. The small DX logo was missed when the store and product pages were updated with the new box art and I think some browser caching meant that even that did not show up for all people.

Unfortunately, we can't upgrade a download order to a physical order yet.

I have sympathy Erik - that wee mistake has cost you physical money - the most it has caused me is a little anguish over not having the physical manual - I'd have bought the physical most definitely if I knew a manual was coming with it. [:(]
