Print OOBs?

Hi there,

I am having a hard timing keeping track of OoB, especially in the larger scenarios. I'd love to have a list that I can print, so I can add notes with a pencil during the battle.

Is this in any way possible?

If you are happy to use the scenario editor, you can export a force list.

The menu-bar version exports a list of the units, with their soft factors (only) to the clipboard where it can be pasted into a text or spreadsheet document. Not too useful, lacking any information on strength (in terms of firepower/equipment).
The one available by right clicking on the OOB tab exports the equipment and ammunition levels, but it needs the useful information extracting from the XML schema, and by default Excel lists these nested - the top level is 'small' but the extra command levels add width to the right.

Neither is directly exactly what you want, but it is a basis for making something a bit quicker than just typing out values from the scenario...

Thanks a bunch! The export force list works fine for me.
I paste it into Excel...
I just add dividing lines per Bn, and I am good to go! I find it helps me quite a bit with planning, it gives more overview.

Interesting. Would there be interest in having a seperate window within the Game to display the OB and from there be able to print opff the OB in full?

Yup, would be useful... but do it at the same time as making an export including location (and exit location and strength, or death location) in a format suitable for importing into Scn Maker... [8D]

Most definitely. If you could do all the things Lieste mentioned, even better [:)]

Cheers
