Really? I tend to get fresh out of the barracks type troops...
Is this WAD or should those units have atleast some stars when being awarded?

Slight different stats (+1 to one of their attack stats and -1 to ground defence)
The best thing about them is that they do not use a unit slot up when deployed....just make sure you deploy them before your last core unit otherwise deployment ends

Oops. That means I have to be extra careful about them. I was given elite mountain troops lately. Didn't notice the paint job.

Update: The elite moutain troops look the same as the normal ones but their truck has the camo paint scheme.
And they died in France.

If you have 3 elite units and lose one, can you get anotherone or is 3 the max you can be awarded throughtout the whole campaign?
