We are sitting in our computer room doing the usual surf and games and such when I just about jump out of my chair. She is watching a youtube video of a guy firing a Boys Anti tank rifle and then some MG. The sound of that Boys going off was something. Girls, gotta love em.

To this day my wife still brings me snacks when I'm playing Lord of the Rings Online. She looked at me harvesting crops the other day(crafting skill in LOTRO) and told me I'm nuts. [:D]

Yeah, it's just women. It's not like working in a virtual world to receive virtual rewards is weird[:'(].

My wife wants to play LOTRO but she has no sense of rpging and cant figure out the keys/mouse controls..So she watches in confusion...lol

But she has been on my case about playing some of my wargames.....Don't think she is ready for Europa but maybe a Z-man game... I have a few but I actually never broke the shrink or played any of them.....Any suggestions from anyone who actually has played a z-man game?

I have always been amazed at the level of "nonsense" our women put up with. Even after 27 years of marriage my wife still restocks the refrigerator in my game room. This sweet woman has never, not once, raised hell about my gaming. I have a much lower level of tolerance for most things she likes doing, such as gardening, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, laundry, exercising...So why does she put up with me??

I ventured out of the cave last night to get some coffee and she was watching Hitler's Secret Weapons on the History Channel or NG. This episode had the flying wing Horten 229.

LOL, my children always called my room a "cave". You are really lucky if your wife is watching Hitler's Secret Weapons-on her own no less.[&o]

Heck, I tried to explain the concept of selling my virtual cooked food in a virtual auction house to real players across the world for virtual gold. It was a lost cause with her looking at me and calling me a little boy. [:D]

But she tolerates me. [&o]

I too have been given the "look".

About 10 years ago I overheard my wife tell a friend "watch South Park and you will understand any man, they are those little boys, and the boys are our husbands". That was an epiphany.

When South Park first came on years ago the kids were teens and that was our quality family time.

Last week she made me come out of the cave and watch an episode of Gene Simmons (KISS). It was about him going to Amsterdam and seeing the Anne Frank house. It was worth watching.

They feel more comfortable knowing that we stay at home and do our stuff than go out to some bar.
