JuChem (Ax) vs Callistrid (Sov) - no Callistrid please

Hello,

i'm playing my first PBEM game. We are now in Turn 7 and i'm facing much problems with the strength of my russian counterpart.

In the first turns he was running for hills and rivers. He has only placed some kind of "checker board" with units in rough terrain (hills, swamps) to slow me down. But now he has stabilized his defense positions and he can easily beat my divisins back in Central and South region.
The Sovjets are having 4.3 million soldiers and lost only 1.3 million soldiers up to now. I've lost in his last turn almost 300 tanks to his counter attacks.

Here is a picture of AGC before german moves:
*He has broken the encirclement and pushed back 1 tank div
*He has encircled 1 mot div and pushed back 1 tank div

This is the picture of AGS in turn 7 before german moves.
He has removed my two bridgeheads on east side of the Dnepr river. One bridge head was secured with 1 tank and 1 mot div (battle results 1). More south he pushed back my tanks and cut of the spear head.

My southern HQs will soon be in rail road range for HQ buildup. I'm dropping massive fuel to the tank corps HQ units. All units are within command range.
I'm a little bit confused about the high russing combat values (up to 250). Can someone please give me advise how to handle this situation and get the offensive back?

Hard to comment without clear strategic picture but I suggest

1 You concentrate your forces better
2 It much harder for R to couterattack at this stage if the is a converted hex between you and him. That will cost him a lot of MPs to get into so he won't be able concentrate such large foces against 1 of your units.

You should not have all those Panzer divisions broken down along the main front. That is begging for a Soviet counter attack.

Also when you first cross the Dnepr in 41 you need to have very strong stacks that include infantry as a typical Soviet player will have a considerable counter attack force ready to throw you back across. Remember the Soviet only needs a one to one to take the hex by making you retreat.

Thanks Ketza and sillyflower for the comments. I tried to leave one hex free between single german units and large sovjet stacks whenever possible. The AI has not used such kind of massive counter attacks.
My progress is much behind, but i will try to do my best to beat the Sovjet player.
