The second one, was allready touched by "Undecided" somwehre on the forum.
Its about defining the Demand in expansion pannel.
All that was touched, was the luxuries.

When Ive mounted a Securian empire in early stages (3-4 colonies, 2nd tech etc..)
Their hand were full.. Military industry, Mining, transport, tech industry was on the roll.
You could imagine how much of stuff was needed to make all this happen.
Yet my "demand" of steel, lead etc in the resource pannel was pointing 0,0

Any reasons?

Your stock seems high enough, maybe you do have enough in your storage or reserved for purchase from other empires.

So does the equation resulting in "Your STock" collumn do not apply to the overall reservs?

Well, the debate is still open on this as we don't know for sure but the general consesus is that it includes your overall reserves plus the amounts requested from other empires. Doing some early game tests where the quantities can be better controlled and accounted should clarify this.
