The command structure for the Russian armored units had a serious disparity in their command structure. Only the lead tank had a radio and when the unit was ordered into battle that lead/command tank would issue it's order via flag/line of sight communication. Compare that with Panzer units where every tank had a radio. I believe Russian armoured units in this game are unrealistically overpowered.

Truthfully, I'm not an expert at this. This was told to me by a friend of mine who is too busy to make a post, but he is serious armor enthusiast and had played many games/tank balles in miniture.

You are quite correct. But how to show it in the game? They use the "technical" stats. Factoring in Command and Control would put limitations that the players would not accept.

All the T-34s except the 85 have Initiative of 8. Making the 40 and 41 an Init of 7 could reflect their poorer comms.
