Grandpa: "Well, we sure made a good living here in Brazil."
Grandma: "Yes, we sure did, buying that mill was a good idea."
Grandpa: "Let's sell everything and go back to Poland."
Grandma: "We'll buy a mill there as well, and we'll build a bakery next to it."
...
Grandpa: "That construction is coming along just great!"
Grandma: "When are we going to open for business?"
Grandpa: "Soon, we'll have a grand opening on the 1st of September I think."

Great timing, eh? [:D][:D][:D]

Unfortunately, Poland was forced to face 2 of the strongest armies of that times, and get lost in about a month. But never surrendered.

A nation fighting against impossible odds. What treachery Poland experienced during World War II! I hope nothing like that ever happens again.

The land of my ancestors. So much pride and so much tragedy. I had a man from Poland drop by my office. He worked for a company that builds office chairs in Canada. He said, "Your name? You're from Poland?" I said, "No, my grandparents were from Poland." He told me I need to visit. I hope I get to do so one day before I can't travel anymore.
