Hi Michael,

My opponent and I are trying to upgrade to the latest beta patch. I ran the latest turn replay on our old version (1106i), upgraded to 1108q2 and tried to load the game turn save file and I get a "failed to load saved game" error. Game file is attached. I was using the 1108q2 executable shortcut from the desktop to run the game.

He did....fairly confident we we followed the upgrade "process" correctly.

after i install a new beta & load a game, i always get a msg, "game saved under version XX, continue? (type Y or N)"

did you see that msg?

This does not look like a proper save.

Further looking suggests that this has been saved by the MP version of the game. Create a shortcut to use "War in the Pacific Admiral EditionMP.exe" instead of the installed beta shortcut.
