Hey all,

used to jam CC3 way back in the day so I was pleased to see there had been a remake.

Unfortunately its not quite how I remember it, very laggy! When I go to select a unit it will hang for a couple of seconds, also when giving orders the box doesn't actually show up for a good 5-10 seconds and the battle timer skips 5-10 seconds at a time.

I'm guessing this has something to do with Windows 7, have tried running it in compatibility mode for Win95 but hasn't fixed the problem. Anyone else having this problem? I just want to play some nice, lag-free CC3.

specs:
win7 home premium
2.2ghz AMD Phenom(tm) II N850 Triple-Core Processor
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
7.7 GB ram

My laptop has two graphics card, one powerful and one smaller for mobility. Running the mobility one seems to fix the lag.

Yeah, I only have 2 GB of ram and a 2.0GHZ processor and I don't lag at all.

Sounds like a driver issue for your powerful graphics card as CoI runs well on newer PC's

I just realized I have the same problem I'm going to try your settings my laptop specs are similar.
