how may units can a game support??

Post by halder252 »

If I am building a scenario or modifying an existing one how many units can I add or include. Some games slow down if you have too many units in play at one time.

For example can I have a game with 60 units? A scenario with 30 infantry units??
thanks

I don't remember exactly but there are some 64 and 128 limits in various places.

The game does use real 3D models and although very low poly the game does slow down with a lot of trees, buildings, shadows and units. How much it slows is up to your rig.
Conflict of Heroes "Most games are like checkers or chess and some have dice and cards involved too. This game plays like checkers but you think like chess and the dice and cards can change everything in real time."

There is a limit of 64 units per side. As Junk says, the HW requirements are pretty low so you are unlikely to tax any but low-end systems with the unit count. Generally there are many many (e.g. in the 4-5k range) map objects than there are units.
