Here are the starting positions for Toul Bridgehead

After running a test I can see that it might be a good idea to give the U.S. a little extra strength in the way of artillery or perhaps some tank units.Made an error on the unit designation on what is supposed to the German 3 parachute regiment HQ.Never have noticed it until now.

Here is a second version. Added CCB to the U.S. side. Also added to and adjusted the victory point areas.

One more version...Repositioned U.S. units closer to to Toul.Too much valuable time being lost in moving into attack positions.Repositioned German units slightly.Repositioned main objective slightly to the east.Last but not least extended scenario length to one day and seven hours.One day does not seem to be enough time for the U.S.This should be it for this area.Will move on to creating a mini scenario based around Pont-a-Mousson

Can you turn on the grid when you take screenshots, just to get the idea of the size and distances?

Yes I guess I could do that....I see your point.....I really do not like looking at the grids myself.....I have taken umteen thousand screenshots so I guess I could post the next thousand with the grid on....[:'(]

grid on seems OK for closer in views but zoomed out is kind of distracting to me....




Should do one more adjustment to the VP values.As is now seems there can be no marginal victory...only draw or major victory....guess I should take more time to test before releasing scenarios.........will know for sure after this test I think...Now that I think about it some more I guess I did get a marginal victory as the Germans.....Setting VP values can be deceptive and kind of tricky....

Finished my initial test of Pont-a-Mousson.

Made some adjustments and have started a new test. Seems better now. German AI are heavily defending Pont-a-Mousson.

Proposed new maps for mini scenarios. After spending a month on the Nancy map I am ready to do some smaller projects.I believe I am going to do the Metz map first.Maps will be about 9.5 by 9.5 kilometers.These maps show 10 meter contour intervals.

I hope if you buy the book you'll do the whole battle for Wingen from the german side....as thats what I really what to play out as thats what the side the book covers.

Book is ordered....Hopefully I will get it....Maybe in a week or two....
