One thing missing from the game are
light rockets(I don't know the english
word, those torches which were shot to
the sky to make some light at night).
They could lighten perhaps three hex radius...

This was mentioned aways back on more than a few wish lists. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that time and the code will allow it.

Night attacks were rear and the code to do something like this would be had so I cant see them includeing it. I would say that a number of more imported things are farder up the list.
