The Reorg times

From the COTA manual:
The Reorg times again vary according to the force size. As a rough rule, a force takes the same amount
of time to Reorg as its Orders Delay. See Estimating Orders Delay. However, as soon as all forces
are in position in the Reorg at the FUP, they will start to Assault. So you can reduce this Reorg task by
50% for foot and by 75% for motorised.

I dont understand the bold marked part. Why can i "reduce this Reorg task by 50% for foot and by 75% for motorised" ?

That's poorly worded. What I meant by it was that as soon as your forces are ready the AI will automatically end the FUPReorg task and go straight over to the assault. Depending on circumstances this may result in significantly less time being spent on the reorg than on orders delay.

Does that help?

Yes, thanks.
Just to make this clear, with ready you mean that they are in position for the assault ?
So if Orders Delay would be 1h for a Inf force, i can expect that (maybe) they will only need 50% of that time for Reorg and maybe will finish the reorg in 0,5h ?

By ready I mean in position and with a reasonable level of cohesion. And yes to your last sentence.
