Technical Requirements - netbook/sub notebook

Hi folks,

I've previously played Harpoon Classic Ultimate on a fairly low powered laptop and netbook, ran fairly poorly on the Atom CPU but fine on the Core 2 Duo 1.4 Ghz ULV, I'm looking to buy a new sub-notebook the Lenovo X121e which has either a 1.3 Ghz Core i3-2357M processor or the new AMD E-350 1.6 Ghz chip.

I was just wondering if anyone else was using similar cpu's and could comment on how well the game runs as Harpoon is probably the game I play the most when I'm away from home and since I sold my previous laptop I've missed being able to load it up when I'm on the road.... as a tablet doesn't run anything! (Harpoon for Android now that would be good....)

I ran H(U)CE on three X120e machines when I set them up and thought it responded well.  Harpoon was my burn-in test of sorts, four copies on autoplay at high time compression, made that little fan buzz pretty well.  That was a clean Win7 Pro install with 3GB RAM, and Vertex 2 SSD.

Thanks for the reply Tony, thats good to know, I've been given access to the Lenovo UK employee discount site and I can't believe the discounts! Might order myself an X220 instead....
