Sorry for the absences of late. I've had some family issues develop these past 2 months. I hope to get those resolved within the next month or so.

Until then all of my projects and forum participation has been at a minimum. Sorry for the absence but I'll get back to PCO as soon as I can.

Good Hunting.

Good luck MR. Hope you can join us as soon as possible.

I guess the next patch will be brilliant: The more we wait the better will be it.

Best

Just updating. Haven't left PCO. Seems like things take twice as long to resolve as we think they will. Haven't done anything with PCO for about 4 months and I thought by now things would have allowed  me to come back to it.

Maybe by the first of the year things will return to some semblance of 'normal' for me.

Good Hunting.

No problem here, some issues put up a darn good fight before a person is able to get things back to normal.

Finally, things seem to be getting back to normal.

I've got a project that I've been working on while I was absent.

I will probably do an interactive DAR like Erik did once before.

The action report along the north side of the Kursk salient from the book, "Tank Warfare in World War II" by George Forty, caught my attention.

The action described on pages 271-279 cover the German advance with Elephant assault guns on 11 July and again on 12 July 1943. While the historic tank engagements raged around Prokhorovka in the south the Soviets stopped the elephants in the north.

Lieutenant Aleksey Yerokhin within those two days, engaging the Elephants one time on each day, ended up as a tank ace being credited with the destruction of 6 Elephants.

Can we do as well?

We'll see how historically accurate this all turns out to be.

I'll wait for the next beta to update my game, which should be within a few days, and then we'll do the map and set the battle to see just how well we can do against the Elephants.

I'll open up a new thread for this scenario to be developed and playtested.

It's good to be back to being able to play PCO again.

I hope you'll follow along in the Elephant Hunt thread.

Good Hunting.
