Pilots Stranded In Reserve?

It looks like there a several pilots that appear in the "Request Verteran" dialog that are from a group that has been withdrawn. When I try to select one of them and transfer him to a group that is active, nothing happens (i.e. the pilot is not transfered). Any suggestions?

It can take up to 14 days before pilot is ready. If the delay is over 7 days, the pilot is not listed on group's pilot list. Maybe this is your problem? Wait and see if they appear later.

you might want to check the pilots airgroup against newly arriving groups, rather than withdrawn groups. Sometimes pilots in these groups appear a few days early in the group pools yet they usually can't be accessed til the group fully arrives. I see this often with USN and USMC groups.
