I have just finished re-installing my FoG collection after my previous computer crashed. However the game language has automatically changed from English to German (I am living in Switzerland). Is there any way I can change the default language back to English?

The language depends on your region settings. If you go to the windows control panel and set your language English it will all revert to English.
