Feb log shows: France reclaimed 6 units

March log shows: Spain reclaimed 10 units, Turkey reclaimed 1 unit

Any idea where these could be coming from? How does the game determine what is a reclaimed unit?

Reclaimed units are corps (or fleets) that were loaned to another nation, at the start of the next turn they revert to their original nation.

I've often wondered why loans are only for the current turn and players must redo this each turn, since usually a campaign lasts longer than a month.

Would folks prefer that Marshall recode this to retain loan agreements until either player makes a change or a combat situation reverts a loaned unit back to original owner control?

Hm, no, this was different. Spain simply received 10 infantry during the diplomacy phase, and was able to place them into existing corps during his reinforcement phase. Meanwhile, Turkey reclaimed 1 feudal inf (!) in Cairo!

so it is not just loaned units being returned? Is it prisoners being released after a war, or someone hitting the release prisoners button?

It's only march 1805 and no prisoners have been taken, and no wars have ended yet.
