Hello all

I am looking for a Wing Commander mod / or a collection of pictures.
Have already made my first ship flying around without engine glow (how to add that in ?!)

As I said.. I have found it.. all credits have to go www.wcnews.com , since its from their ships database.

But again, how do you get the glowing engines to work ? atm it hasnt any engine effect.

Hi, Conn. Great idea and you're off to a good start!

To get the engine effect you must draw a horizontal blue line, RGB 0,0,255. It only needs to be 1 pixel width.

Finally ... had a busy afternoon So I just managed a few things but ...

I got a complete set of capital ships from the "Tiger's Claw" era (Wing Commander I) containing both vessels from the Kilrathi Empire and the Terran Confederation Navy, plus the only starbase in that game. Later eras got some more bases, though.
Havent converted any fighters so far, since the game mostly relies on capital ones.
Enough talk, heres the file !

And to those who are curious before getting them, heres a summary

upper row is Terran Confed Navy, bottom row , obviously, Kilrathi Empire then.



From top left to top right :
Bengal class, carrier
Diligent class, troop transport
Drayman class, standard transport
Exeter class, destroyer
Venture class, corvette

Bottom row left to right
Dorkir class, standard transport
Fralthi class, cruiser
Lumbari class, troop transport*
Ralari class, destroyer*
Sivar class, Dreadnought*
Snakeir class, Dreadnought

Good job putting these together, Conn. It's giving me fond memories seeing these old Wing Commander ships again.

Its been my pleasure, since I liked that space opera a lot, too.

Next to arrange will be the capital ships and bases of Wing Commander 2, next'll be WC 3 and so on. plus I'll add in what I think is suitable from the spin-offs like privateer1/2, armada.
All in all the collection will have ships from  Kilrathi Empire, Terran Confed, privateer bases and Nephilim... I guess [:)]

Nice work, Connarius, I don't even remember the WC series though I'm sure I've played at least one of them. Shame on me.
