Can anyone recommend an iPad2 "second monitor" app for the following (there are a bunch on em).

I would like to play Witp AE on my desktop comp w/Win7 and ViewSonic monitor in Full Screen Mode. At the same time, I would also like to run Tracker in the background on my desktop and use my iPad2 as a second monitor via an app to view Tracker. That way I can view/use Tracker on my iPad2 while playing Witp AE without having to run Witp AE in a window or constantly swap between Witp AE and Tracker on my desktop.

Anyone doing this?

Here is an example app for iMac. These type of second monitor apps will not allow full iPad features (e.g., pinch and zoom), but I should be able to resize tracker, make selections in tracker using the touch screen, and scroll tracker with the touch screen.

Looks like air display is the way to go.

No reponses to post . . . hmmm, I guess no one is using Tracker on their ipad - seems like a perfect combo.

Let me know how well that works. I have an iPad 1 and would like to be able to do that as well.

I use a second monitor for tracker. The iPad is for browsing the forums when you have an issue you need to learn about.

Do you alt-tab to use tracker? When I tried that the game prevents you from easily moving over unless you alt-tab.

well, not looking good - the tracker window turns red when moved to the ipad using air display, otherwise it works. it looks like this is the only program that does this.

i dearly love tracker, but as a person who had to learn and knows java, i blame it on java's swing gui api - it is utter crap and circa 1995.

It's only the air production screen ? Maybe I can see if I can do something about that ... And yes Java is crap sometimes.[;)]
