Hi, I have played a solitaire game, but other than that, nothing.

I am interested in playing against somebody in a scenario to begin with. I can take either side.

Sure, what scenario are you interested in? How about Case Blue maybe? I can be Russians. Its a good learnng scenario i think.

My preference would be, Fog of War extreme, Difficulty Normal, PBEM, (make sure you have it setup as a PBEM game before you go through the lengthy process of your turn, you can check by loading a turn, ending it and checking that when you load the save it asks for a Russian password). Does that sound good?

I could use some practice as the Russians and this is a fun scenario to learn on as Germans too (you get to beat up on the Red Army quite a bit). Just a word of warning, it gets muddy around turn 15, so the German player may think he has a few turns left to lunge at Stalingrad and then... tanks stuck in the mud.
