German playable SUs Mods - 1st Variant

Much to my chagrin, it is impossible to make Soviet SUs playable. However, with no buildable units, the Axis SUs can be made so. Call it "Greater Freedom of Operational Doctrine" or what you will..[8D]
But rather than make them all available in one she-bang, I've decided to do some variants for the 41-45 GC.
This first one has all Armor, SP Artillery, and Mechanized SUs as playable. The one exception is the SP Infantry Gun Companies (sIG33s) that will stay as SUs with their respective Panzer Divisions.
As before, a Battalion is represented by "Regiment (-)"
and Company/Battery is represented by "Regiment (--)"
Made with 1.05.42 data changes.
Enjoy!

Here is the 2nd variant.
It includes those units of the 1st variant, plus all other units with the exception of Artillery and AA. (Infantry, MG, towed-AT, Cavalry, Engineer, and that lone Bicycle Recon Battalion[8D])
3rd Variant

Here is the 3rd variant.
It includes those units of the 1st and 2nd variants, plus all Artillery, Rocket, and Mortar.
Now at version 1.01
- Forgot to edit TOE 292 - Hungarian Heavy Artillery Battalion to become playable. This affects four units.
- Reset a few artillery units outside Budapest to release at correct dates.
- Moved several Hungarian units that were in Rumania.
4th Variant

For true meglo-maniacs, here is the 4th variant which places every SU under player control (minus Construction units). All units from the first three variants, plus now all AA units are playable.
German and Rumanian Flak Regiments normally in cities are now on the map but are set to Static mode.
Good luck![8D]

Great idea and it must have been a lot of work, but unless you can find a way to change the stacking limits, how is it supposed to work? My front line units cannot stack with their respective SUs under this mod, so their overall combat capabilities are reduced, no?

Stacking limits are of course a concern. This can be overcome somewhat by placing the former SUs on Reserve (especially on defense). I do not see it so much a problem for the Axis, as they get spread pretty thin as it is.
I am playtesting the Variant 4 at the moment, now on turn 5. I like the feel of it so far.
Pushing around a busted up NKVD unit with a Pioneer and StuG Battalion is good, clean fun..[8D]

Here is a new 41-45 variant where only Axis Super Heavy Artillery Units (170mm+) are playable. Nebelwerfers not included..
Soviets are unmodified.
DO NOT use these artillery units in solo, two-hex ranged attacks. They will take far more damage than they dish out. It is safe to use them in two-hex ranged attacks with normal combat units.
