Moving through occupied zones of control

One of the things I like in the game 'Unity of Command' is that you can move through enemy zones of control if you have units in those hexes. Any chance of adding that as an optional rule ? IMO, it makes sense that you could move through, as having units occupying a hex means you have more control there than an adjacent enemy unit. Possibly with a movement penalty.

Not a bad idea but possibly hard to implement and might upset balance.

It would need some 'fine tuning' aswell, for example if there's 3 enemy units adjacent to a hex occupied by one of your own units than it's reasonable to assume that the enemy units fully control (and block) any movement through that hex.
Then it would be something like if you have 2 units more than the enemy adjacent (or inside) to a hex then you can move through that hex with a movement penalty of 1 and 1 more for every enemy unit adjacent to that hex.

Still not sure if it would work sieges (especially in the DLC's) would for example but totally different. A numerical superior force (usually the AI) would have an easier time of it. Could be a nightmare to properly implement in the AI aswell.
