Hi guys,

I with my opponent using the same version(Beta 1108r4) play a PBEM.The first few turns all normal,but now've got a problem,I can't read the opponent's saves, WHY?

I´m the opponent in question.

I´m using the same Beta patch version as championzhao does.

I just tried downloading and running the turn I sent, and it doesn´t work for me, either.

Okay... I sent another save from a backup I kept, and that one worked.

I think I might have screwed up saving the end-of-turn file, maybe exited the save screen before the game was done saving.

Yes the files are corrupt. I was going to suggest that you tried to re-create them.

Another problem... championzhao cannot read the file I sent him. It works just fine for me (at least I can get all the way to the passport prompt), but when I re-download the turn I sent it, WitP crashes every time I try to load it.

... and when I try to upload the turn here, the site tells me "C:\fakepath\wpae006.pws not supported".

You have to make a .zip file to upload saves here.

Here it is. 006 is the one that crashes AE. 006a is the original, which works just fine. 006 was created from 006a by uploading it as an e-mail attachment in googlemail.
