Hi, folks.

I bought the '41 (finaly!), I installed it, I started the campaing (and imported my data from '40's campaign)... and when I pressed the button to deploy my units... the screen was BLACK and "freezed"!!!

Heeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Sounds like something got messed up during the installation, although not sure yet what exactly.

When you start the game, what version number do you see on the main screen (at the bottom)?

Also, can you check the size of the equipment.pzeqp file in the game's Data subfolder?

I retried a couple of times, but same thing; after the message "We welcome you her General back to duty...", I'm pressing the button to deploy my units, the right menu is there, there is NO MAP in the main screen (back, empty space) and the game is "freezed" - I must go to Task Manager and end manually the game...

I understood the issue. Could you please answer my questions above?

Obviously... I need to UPDATE the entire game to 1.05, right?!
(Do I need to re-istall the '41 AFTER I'll upgrade to v1.05?)

Yeah, that's what I suspected. Obviously you still have version 1.04 of the game, while DLC '41 requires 1.05. Now, the DLC must have installed 1.05 patch automatically, so not sure why it did not. People responsible for the installers will have to check this out. In the mean time I suggest to download 1.05 patch and install it manually, this should help.

If the upgrade to v1.05 is the issue, can you gimme a link to the upgrade, so not loosing time to find the upgrade package?

In theory, reinstalling DLC '41 is not needed, but just to be 100% safe, better reinstall it too.

I had a HUGE smile on my face (and worn my... Luftwaffe's cap!)... and my smile wiped out! Hahaha...

(Personally, I HATE the Russian front/campaign, but what the hell! I'll play this and I'll wait the rest!)

Just a question:
Since we're talkin' about '41 and RUSSIA, that means you'll NOT create a Balkans' campaign (Operation "Merkur" is my favorite, damn it!) and it will be NO "Africa Corps" campaign too? (I mean, OFFICIAL campaigns for the above I mention).

Oups! Sorry, folks! Before starting the '41 campaign, I wrote above here "why not a Balkan campaign" - before I read in '41's info about "Barbarossa"...
...but NOW, I'm playing the GREECE's INVASION!!!!! YEA!... I suppose, there is ALSO the CRETAN campaign, with lots of PARAS, right?!
