Gentlemen.

I have been patient enough and now it has worn thin.

From this point on, any posts not related to the Campaign Series or Modern Wars will be outright deleted.

Any posts that relate to the Campaign Series or Modern Wars but do not help the progress of the games will be outright deleted.

I asked the following questions and each time the thread got deleted by the moderator
1. Is this new policy for JTCS or accross all boards?
2. Is this Policy Matrix Sanctioned?
3. If there are legitimate question on how rules should work will this be deleted?
4. Will previous post that do not adhere to this directive that is also evidently sponsored by Matrix be deleted?
5. If the questions or concerns that are deemed to be good for CS will that be deleted?

These questions were deleted 4 times within seconds of posting.

I did find this about policy from Matrix but did get a support ticket for this issue.

All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Matrix Games Forums or ASP Playground (developers of the forum software) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

Although the administrators and moderators of the Matrix Games Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. Please use the report button, IM, PM or email the admins to bring it to attention. The forum policies apply to ALL of the Matrix forums and all forum users. There is to be no spamming, trolling, personal insults, vulgarity, bigotry, profanity or porn. Inappropriate language or conduct can lead to a short vacation or outright dismissal from Matrix. All topics and behavior that is deemed unsuitable or improper will be locked with an explanation given as to why.

Note in this policy it should emphasized that threads should be locked. No where does it state deleted

I wonder what Matrix definition of "trolling" is. Considering some forum members use that charge for any post they don't like or agree with. Does the moderator decide if it's trolling or does he count how many people accuse someone of it? Also, when exactly is Matrix going to enforce these rules? At the John Tillers Campaign Series, they just deleted a bunch of posts that now makes one of the threads look like mumbo jumbo. And there are STILL people violating the rules even though everyone else has seen the light.

I'm one hundred percent behind Jason and the new forum policy.

What should be discussed is Matrix JTCS?
It is Jason's forum to moderate as he sees fit?
To much has the forum denigrated into hissy fits by those who want to not discuss Matrix JTCS or the new version 1.05 patch?

Good job Jason. I posted on the forums too (so if you want to delete my thread, fine by me). [&o]

Well Barker seeing that this is your post I can tell you after reading the refuse being posted last week and other refuse that might of been deleted this week that I didn't get to read, and that's not only from you of course. I can see why the Mod would finaly get around to punitive measures.

Peace and a Merry Christmas to all

RR you were the main one stirring the pot just like over at the Blitz that got a dismissal. Not saying aything about that nor the speculation. None of my business. You were the one cursing people on the threads. Now the threads were deleted cannot report it so it is safe for you now. Me I just don't think it is right that a thread of questions got deleted.

LOL!

Barker get your facts straight. I did not get a dismissal from The Blitz. I was banned for a cause issued by the Campaign Series Ladder Commander. You might not understand but it is by the will of the Ladder Commander that I was banned. It had nothing to do with any of the speculation that went around the Matrix CS forum.

Safe? Why not report this post? It would have as much meaning as reporting any of the deleted posts, mine or yours? Heck, anyone can report any one else's post, can't they?

When all the false accusations and inferences were deleted because the did not relate to Matrix JTCS, I simply do not fit into your agenda now?

It's up to you to play nice or shut up?
Others have apologized for getting it wrong? How about you?
My business is my business. It is none of your business, is it now?

Unless you see this post as "stirring the pot", stand up and be counted or be bowled over by a mod that will delete your posts. It is really your choice now?

It is why I support Jason's decision and his efforts to keep the trolling post down.

Regards,

RR
