heres a new one - for some reason the airborne corps breakdown like the cav and tank corps neat but it doesnt feel right to me

Hahaha! That's too funny. I guess the breakdown code is a little screwy here, if it's allowing HQ class units to breakdown...[:D]

This is a fun bug. It works with all Soviet Corps HQ. When you break them down, they automatically (and with immediate effect, no *) move their support units one step up the chain of command (to Army, Front, or Stavka). Doesn't work with German HQs, or higher HQs (Army, Front, Airbases). You can't do it with frozen HQs, but you CAN do it with HQs that have 0 MP.

Time for a bug fix

And they each have a 9cp command allowance...that might be useful.

Now someone has to try it with German Korps HQ.

Tried that already - doesn't work with German units. Also, its not too useful for the Soviets, as you generally have enough Army HQs anyways. Also, you have to assign support units to each of the broken down HQs

Mainly an amusing bug, with the only real consequence (and why it should be fixed ASAP) being that you can use it to push support units to the armies right away, without any delay.

Doesn't that happen anyways when HQs are disbanded (manually or automatically)?

Yes, but that will either cost you time or quite a few AP.

Also, you can't disband isolated HQs, but you can break them down.

HQ breakdown should be fixed in the next update.  The fix did not make it into the one just released.
