Just checking - after the Kiel discussion I started wondering. Can Italian SUBs move into the Atlantic through Gib? I think that historically they could.....and it's rather important.

Ah well pls put this on the features list since Italian subs were historically able to negotiate their way past Gibraltar and enter the Atlantic.

The straits feature is the general rule for fleets not for units types within, so we are not able to decide which units to pass and which to hold.

In the game, Gibraltar is the key. If the Axis controls Gibraltar, then Axis ships can transit there. Otherwise, no.

If it becomes an option and it seems a good idea, I guess that will mean German U-boats could pass into the Med. [:)]
