Desert Attrition

Is this WAD (It seems that Itallian units in the desert hexes are losing manpower each turn) and are there any charts outlining terrain and attrition?
There is no attrition for desert hexes.
Most probably you are loosing your manpower because of enemy bombardment, or your supply is lowering (and after that effectiveness) because with every move you are farther from your supply source.
