A question to Mac users...

Following on from Perturabo's "A question to Linux users..."
BftB (v.4.1.235) works fine using the Windows-emulator CrossOver Games, which is built on Wine. CotA and HttR also run great.
The first and only problem I've experienced is being unable to instal the latest BftB patch (v4.2.248 ): I get a "Failed to open output file" prompt.
