Background Music option?

I've been away from this title for a while. What is the "Background Music" option? No music plays and I see no music in the "sounds" folder that would play if it did. Is this for the user to add music files somewhere, then it plays them?
I asked for music in the wishlist thread. It probably did not get implemented. [:(]
EDIT:
Never mind. It's for the opening menu music only. The same music for the World At War game. Stupid question again...

Yeah sorry no music. Strangely enough though I don't miss it at all. Got used to it probably, no music that is.

I had forgotten what that option was, since I always kept it disabled. Why have music for the main menu?
I play my WW2 collection of favorites in the background while playing anyway.

It is actually possible for scenario designers to play background music using:
the event exec: ExecPlayEventBackgroundWav(). It should support wav, ogg and maybe mp3. Set the event with this command to 'open turn check' mode to ensure its called at start of a turn and when loading a saved game in progress.
best,
Vic

What made you decide to not have included music during the game?

No, I depend on computer games to play all the music in our home.

And the same to you. I wondered how you would respond. Good job. I really like war games to have their own selection of background music, but if they don't I do have a grand supply of my own.
Happy New Year and a healthy one too! [&o]
