ok.. I M in Russia, and Ukriane.. its 1940-41 winter as axis...
will the effects of winter be more severe in 41 42

I'm not sure how the winter looks there at the moment. However if the hex is covered with snow it doesn't matter which year is that.

Playing as Russia, not that I saw. So far into Jan 1942. Russian effectivessness has recovered and finally have the unit density and strength to launch limited counterattcks.
