ETA on First Patch.....

Any idea when the first patch/update will be available? I want to start a GC but have decided to await the patch...thanks

Not before Christmas.
I can bet that the second part of January will be the term.

Imho there is still a lot to shake out of the game and to refine. Reading between the lines this was a publish or die effort and pretty close to being finished and DEFINITELY playable. I am having a blast with Barbarossa as the Russians.
That said, I would rather wait for a good comprehensive patch than two or three or four intermediate patches. The only real game stopper was something I read about games not loading after 70 or so turns do to naval logs running out of room.
Just my two cents.

We are planning to release first patch rather sooner than later to solve issues like the one mentioned by comsolut.
Next patches should be released 'when it's done' so we might include everything we want in there.
