Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if Matrix had plans to create a scenario based on the Suvorov thesis that Stalin wanted to attack first but Hitler attacked before him.
I have detailed information of Soviet plans based on the Timenshenko and Zhukov May 18 1941 attack plan.
If Matrix does not intend to create such a scenario, my question is, is anyone here willing to help me create the Zhukov/Timenshenko scenario as I have not done it before? Probable attack date could be May 25th or June 1st presuming that stalin did okay the Timensheno/Zhukov plan.
The only unknown variable for me would be what axis forces existed at the front at these times.
There is a TOE scenario that may have some information on this.

You cannot start a scenario prior to 22 June 1941; this is a hard-coded limitation of WITE. To pursue the "Soviets Attack First" option you would have to modify the assumptions of your hypothetical scenario in some fashion in order to operate within the constraints of the game engine.

Presume the Balkan campaign took longer than planned and have the Soviets attack first on June 22nd with Axis troop dispositions being taken from an earlier time in May or beginning June.

Doable I think.

The Operational Art of War has a scenario.
I have just bought a copy to use their force description as the basis of the Axis side, and then weld it onto the 1941 scenario if possible.

I am new to this.

Never tried it at all.

But it should be fun.

I think it's fun. A little patience up front and things will start to pick up as you get more familiar with the editor. You might try building a smaller scenario first. The following tutorial may prove helpful:
