PO-assist-only play?

Has anyone else tried playing with just using the latest patch's PO-assist mode, setting objectives and stances for the AI and letting it handle the specifics of unit handling and combat? How did you find the experience?

Also, I'd like to get a recommendation for a Fall Blau scenario. I tried the "Stalingrad and the Caucasus 1942" scenario from Matrix Games' repository, but the 90 degree rotation of the map is just throwing me off completely.

Gradenko_2000,

I have been playing around with PO Assist. It is not quite the full deal yet but it is an incredibly useful tool. There are oodles of ways of making use of it. It is dead handy for fine tuning the PO. It can be a little frustrating sometimes when the PO doesn't quite do what you were hoping it would do. It's certainly fun to play around with.

I had a similar problem with "Stalingrad and the Caucasus 1942" but after a few turns I forgot about the orientation.

I have never played "Fall Blau" so I can't comment on it.

Best wishes,
Steve
