I noticed this for the first time in my latest long campaign. In my second battle, I saved a snapshot in CW, and when I opened the roster screen, one of the units was not listed at all. It is not a destroyed unit, it was just missing from the display. It is unit G0. The roster lists unit F0, and then H0. Every unit following this shows it has been replaced.

I'm starting to think that my preferences file may need to be deleted and reset. This file gets corrupted once in a while, and I haven't reset it for over two years.
