Hi.
I´m a long time buyer of your games, and this is the first time i´m having problems whit a game.
Bought and downloaded Command OPS: Battles from the Bulg.
Installed fine, but when starting the game i´m getting this message:

C:\MatrixGames\Battles from the Bulge\CmdOps.exe

Tha application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application eventlog or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

When i´m trying to update the game from COBattlesfromtheBulge-Update-v42248.exe from update3.matrixgames.com,
I´m getting this message:

Error:

Unable to download file.
An error occured when downloading information from the server.

War in the East is running fine on the same machine...

Please help!!

Solved it by my self...
Reinstalled Visual C++ redistributable and Visual C++ Redistributable Service..

Not sure if that was sacastic, but to post at 7PM on a Friday and expect support by Saturday AM seems unreasonable.

Glad you got it solved.

I am reluctant to respond to issues that are obviously specific to the user and/or his machine. There are so many things that could possibly be wrong I wouldn't know where to start.

And, like mattilacken's case, they usually end up knowing how to fix it better than anyone else anyway.[:)]

I was sacastic, meaning i gave my self great support and solved the problem
Now I must attend to the defense of Bastonge! =)

i recommend that you should right click on the exe file of the game and click on the Run as Administrator from the right click Menu.
