Rivers?

How will rivers be treated in the game? Obviously obstacles to troops. How will river crossings be handled? What about ships sailing up rivers?

The ships in the game are too big to be going up rivers, even DEs were not used for this.

Land combat - now there's some usefulness there, but I don't know how tyhe ground combat will be handled.

Well, from the blurb for the game it lists gunboats & river boats, so there could be some river craft available. How they would interact with the land combat will be interesting to see.

PTs would most certainly be capable of river patrol. Certain barges would be capable of up-river supply.
