I just finished my 1st full AI game and was wondering why the Italian Army pulled all there units off the board even though I won the game in 1943 isn't there a way to keep them on as long as you are winning (victory points) being the game isn't historic (move wise) after the 1st move. Just curious. Regards Joe

The Italians should withdraw regardless because things weren't going so well in the Med in early 1943........

The only way to keep them in Russia in 1943, IMO, is to convince the Japanese to not bomb Pearl Harbor, thereby bringing the US into the war. That might keep the Med free for awhile!

I was just thinking about the Russian Front never thought about other area of operations. Tks Joe

Not to mention the fact that Italy surrendered in early September 1943, so they shouldn't stay around longer than that at the very latest.

I was wondering why all the Italian SUs went to OKH after the rest of the Italians left. Do they leave eventually? I have Italian construction units all over the map fixing things [:)]
