An Idea to help with AARs and capturing odd behaviour

Hi all,

I would like to request that the following be added in some fashion either to this game or to the next one.

Refined Automation of savegames.

Either:
1) Allow the user to set the frequency of autosaves.
2) Give us a hot-key that will allow a quicksave that auto-increments the filename with a timestamp

Why?

Makes taking action shots for AAR much less intrusive than having to stop, save, etc.

Also, many times I have read where a bug or odd behaviour has happened that there is a request for a save game close to the time of the 'incident'. Often this isn't possible because the game is so good and consuming that we don't keep track of our last save and 20 minutes is too long between saves.

Yes they are both good suggestions. I'll see what we can do.

@Deathtreader:

I believe is it something a professor of Irish History says in a novel I once read. I will have to see if I can come up with the name of the book.

Found it: http://www.amazon.com/Ireland-Novel-Fra ... 479&sr=8-9

I believe the characters name is T. Bartlet Rile. I shall amend my sig to give proper credit.
