How does the Handicap % on turns 1 -5 affect game play? I understand about the Force Supply and Replacement Levels.
I just received TOAW III after having the original edition. It is much more of a challenge and I am really enjoying it.

I am retired and am about ready for PBEM opponents.

The shock bonuses for the Axis combined with the shock penalties for the Soviets makes the initial stages of the Barbarossa campaign particularly easy for the Axis. After that, Soviet resistance will begin to stiffen.
